Today at work I made a joke about Joel Osteen’s private jet and one of the secretaries at my job overheard what I said and got incredibly defensive and quickly walked up to me and claimed that all his wealth comes from him being businessman on the side by selling books, and she said “I would know because I’ve been going to his church for 15 years and he’s an amazing person.” Okay yeah sure, I didn’t bother to argue with her because she could of reported me to HR for making fun of her religion. But it is sad to see someone you thought was somewhat intelligent defending this megachurch money pit.

Anyone ever meet someone who attends their church? Are they all super defensive for this multi millionaire?
