Has anyone made plans on what to do to stay warm if there’s a power out during a freeze again?

My parents were asking me what I want for Christmas, and I was thinking if there was something I can get to be prepared if the power goes out again. I don't want to mess with a big generator, but I was thinking of maybe getting this portable power station thing, which I could use to charge my phone and a radio and other things, but also charge this tiny little heater that I could keep right by me. Does anyone have anything else they recommend? I don't want to jinx things, but I'd rather have things I never need to use for a blackout rather than a blackout come and I'm not prepared.
