Has anyone else noticed an usually high amount of mosquito hawks?

These things are everywhere!

Every front door I walk up to, inside restaurants, I even found one in my room last night. I’ve never had an insect in my home.

What’s going on? Am I going crazy or is there an absurd amount of these things this year?
