Harris Health System – Major Data Leak

I received the attached letter in the mail mentioning a major data leak involving Harris Health System, where my personal information, medical info, and even social security number were stolen. All they could offer was a half hearted apology and year of credit monitoring through a third party company.

No news agency has reported on this data leak and there's no telling how many of us have been affected. Please, if you've been a patient, your parents, or your children have been a patient of the Harris Health system your data and theirs is at risk.

No clue what to do now, but hopefully this can help someone else.
