Harris County Public Health Jobs

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here works or knows anyone that works for the Harris County Public Health? I graduated from Texas A&M with my MPH and I’ve been looking for my first position post graduation. I’ve applied to a few jobs on the Harris County Public Health’s website. I’ve received 1 interview but haven’t heard back in a couple of weeks. So I’m not really sure if I’m still in the running for that position. I also been referred for different positions but haven’t received interviews. I feel like I’m qualified for these positions. Many of them are entry level but haven’t had much luck. Does anyone have any tips on landing a job here? Also what is the interview process like? Does it normally take more than two weeks to hear back? Do they just interview a lot of people?
