Harris County Property Liens

Does anyone know if all of the liens detailed on the Harris County Clerk website are all currently active? Or do they stick around on the site even if they have been resolved?

Recently purchased a home (about a month ago) and received a letter from an attorney stating there was a lien on our home, and they are requesting payment. The lien was filed while the home was owned by the prior owner (last summer). I thought this would have all gotten resolved as part of the sale and that we were getting a clean title.

Went onto the clerk’s site and noticed there are several liens listed, including the one detailed in the attorney letter I received today, and now I’m a little peeved.

Just curious if anyone else has dealt with something or if they have any high-level insight. I’m working on contacting an attorney as well, but since it’s Friday, I figured I would not hear anything until Monday.
