Harris County Pets suspends animal surrender, stray intakes due to overcrowding
Harris County Pets announced it will temporarily suspend animal surrender and stray intakes from July 1 until Aug. 1 due to the influx of animals at its facilities, according to a June 26 news release from Harris County Public Health.
