Harris County coronavirus count: New cases up in Harris County as daily testing rates reach new heights

More than 111,000 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Harris County as of May 16, according to data tracked by the Texas Department of State Health Services, with the amount of tests given out of the week of May 10-16 close to three times the amount given out two weeks earlier, between April 26 and May 2.
