Harris County community center opens, replaces predecessor damaged by Hurricane Harvey
Harris County Precinct 3 held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 27 for the new Steve Radack Community Center, which replaces the Bear Creek Community Center that flooded during Hurricane Harvey.
The new community center, located at 18650 Clay Road, began construction in April 2020. The multipurpose facility spans 24,500 square feet and can accommodate 800 people. Its predecessor spanned 8,000 square feet.
