hard post to make but left with no choice but to rehome our puppy

We've just recently moved cross country to Houston and brought with us our 6 month old lab mix puppy. We originally planned on purchasing a house north of Houston but upon that falling through had to secure an apartment. Our puppy has never had to live in proximity to people other than us and on our first night in the new complex we've already received a complaint. She doesn't stay by herself well and will whine loudly when left in her crate when we have to go out. We're not in a position to put her through the training necessary and can't risk an eviction. We're both devastated as we adopted her from a shelter back home and feel this will be the second time humans have let her down but we feel our hands are tied. In my most ideal situation I would love to find someone with a ranch or farm as that's the type of situation she's accustomed to but being new to the area, and Texas altogether, have no idea where to even begin. I accept the negative responses that something like this will incur but we at least want to try and set her up in a situation better than we could've provided her. Thank you
