Halloween vs Christmas: which events and decorations are better to check out?

Hey everyone! Planning on visiting around fall/winter time next year and, while I love the event and decorations for both holiday seasons, what’s more worth while to check out for a tourist’s first time in Houston? Also, what holiday events would you suggest checking out?
