Hair stylist Recommendations

I (37F) want to cut my incredibly long and boring hair. Like drastic life change type of haircut. I have major trust issues with new stylist bc I ended up with a pseudo mullet back in high school. I usually get one if my family members that’s a stylist to do my hair like once or twice a year. And all I do is cut a few inches off. My hair is currently down to my butt. It’s way too thick & heavy to keep putting it in a bun/ ponytail and it’s too effing hot & humid to wear it down.

I don’t even know where to begin looking for a new stylist. I wanna be able to sit down have them look at my hair and face shape, talk to me, look at a few ideas and be able to tell me what works/ doesn’t work and then do something magical with my hair.
