H-E-B extends temporary pay increase for hourly employees

H-E-B LP is extending the temporary $2-an-hour pay increase for employees through June 21.

The San Antonio-based grocer announced the extension of its Texas Proud Pay in a companywide email obtained by the San Antonio Business Journal May 20. The hourly pay increase, which started in March, applies to all employees in the store, manufacturing, warehouse and transportation.

The announcement came during the company’s Partner Appreciation Month.
