Greater Greenspoint visitor next week. Advice please?

I've heard some bad things about cars being liberated of wheels and catalytic convertors etc while in hotel parking lots. Is that representative of that area?

What are good places to eat? Meet babes?

I noticed a fine arts museum closer to central Houston, any thing of the sort in the northern regions?

What are some things people 'in the know' might pass on to me? I'll be staying for 4 nights, working afternoon till 10pm.
