LUBBOCK, Texas — Gov. Greg Abbott says there will not be another statewide shutdown because of COVID-19.

He made that comment Thursday afternoon in Lubbock while highlighting a new experimental antibody treatment drug. Hospitals in that city have been overwhelmed.
