Goode company bbq is quite bad

Love GC seafood and even their taqueria is decent but man is the bbq bad. Maybe the worst in the city. The brisket is extremely smoky yet has no seasoning in the bark, and isn’t tender. The sauce is just gross and somehow also has no salt. Sides also aren’t very good. The sausage is average. How does this place stay in business?
