Good Weekday Day Drinking Spots

A buddy of mine died this past weekend and I am not able to make his memorial service in another state. So I wanted to go have some day drinks while the service would be going on to join in spirit (and spirits). Looking for good day time drinking spots. Preferably chill places to sit with decent drinks. West of the loop would be ideal but I’m open to ideas. Thanks! the plan is to start drinking around 2pm
