Good places to wander?

I’ll be visiting Houston for the first time for five days mid March for a little solo spring break trip. The biggest city I’ve ever been to is Phoenix. I’m not one for super touristy stuff I kinda just like to explore on foot and find my own little things to do. I obviously can’t explore the entire city in a few days but what are some good places in Houston to just wander around?
