Good Hernia Doctors in Houston

TLDR: My father needs a good hernia doctor near Houston, he has insurance and medicare. I don’t think any of the hernias are very complicated. My father has a few un-repaired abdominal hernias and prior repaired groin hernias from the military.

Hey I’m looking for a good hernia repair doctor for my father in North Houston and/or Houston. He has some that were done in the groin from when he carried caskets in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, one got redone in the past 10 years when it failed.

Currently it is just the ones in his abdomen.

He had his gallbladder removed a few years ago and claims this is why he has 2-3 abdominal hernias where they cut into him for the camera, tools, and the removal site. My mom and I don’t believe this is the cause but it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t want to go back to the same Dr because the gallbladder incision was “hard for two years after”. I think it was just a non plastic surgeon performed suture that he thinks was “hard”.
