Good fishing spots on mustang bayou?

I’m getting into bass fishing and I’ve hit up some ponds in the manvel/Pearland area without any luck and was thinking the bayou might be more fruitful since I’ve seen a lot of people catch from there regularly. I tried where it flows next to Pomona, but it was real shallow and I only spotted a gar, does anyone know some spots along it I could fish from the bank or a bridge without having to crawl through mud or park in someone’s front yard?
