Good credit union(s) for auto loans

In the market for a new car and was curious if anyone has any good suggestions on credit unions that were any good? And maybe if they used their car extended warranties and how good that experience was?

I have heard that usually these 3rd party warranties are a nightmare if not a hassle to deal with when using them.
