Good apartments in Cypress?

My boyfriend and I are seeking for an apartment in that area but a lot of them have major safety concerns such as car break-ins. It’s Houston, I know a lot of crime is expected but are there apartments that take more precautions than others? Our budget is around $1300.

Side note: we want to be close to the copperfield area as much as possible
