Going private?

A few days ago, u/lovetape made a post about the changes to Reddit’s API pricing, and how the majority of our users here are mobile, myself included.

Since that post, it seems like many of the subs I frequent have had posts of their own about going private or migrating communities like discord and other apps away from Reddit.

I haven’t seen anything additional about this here beyond u/lovetape’s aforementioned post and I am wondering if r/Astros or r/Texans are planning to, or could potentially, go private as well.

IMO, this conversation should be public and draw input from the community here that this will directly affect. Mods – can you please update us on y’all’s conversations and if this sub should be bracing for upcoming changes?
