Gnarly accident on 69 entering the ramp to bw8?

I was on the on-ramp to enter bw8 off of 69, to get to JFK blvd to pick up friends at IAH, and I saw a body on the right lane, half of it on the emergency lane. I had to swerve so hard to avoid hitting it. I’m not sure if the person survived but past him were two cars pulled over and then a bike on the ground against the wall… i haven’t heard anything about it but jesus christ was that traumatic. avoid that area tonight 🙁
