Glass car roofs in Houston

Since my car is getting up there in age I’ve been looking around at new ones to eventually replace it. I’ve noticed a ton of new models have extensive glass roofs (Tesla is an example). Houston is so unbelievably hot in summer, I can’t imagine that being a comfortable feature here. Any observations from those who have them?
