Gifford Roofing

Has anyone every used Gifford Roofing or know someone that has? They were soliciting in my neighborhood yesterday and inspected my roof for hail damage from the recent storms. They said they can get insurance to pay for a new roof. Just want to make sure it isn't a scam.
