Ghost bike placement for bicyclist killed in a hit & run

Spreading the word of this memorial event happening on August 10th at 12pm.

To those that knew James Midkiff, he was tragically killed in a hit and run last November.

Friends, family, and the cycling community are welcomed to join for James’ Ghost Bike Placement. Gathering will begin at R Bar and will proceed to the placement of the Ghost Bike to memorialize James and advocate cycling awareness to the community.

If you wish to attend the placement, the family is welcoming our community for support and awareness. If any media would like to attend please send a DM through the Facebook group “Houston Ghost Bike” for any additional information needed.
