Getting rid of older sago palm

I have a sago palm that is fairly old. The main trunk is probably 5 feet tall and including plumage, the plant is well over 7 feet tall (i havent measured it exactly). From what i understand, people will come dig up such a specimen because it takes so long to grow this big.

I hate sago palms but it seems wasteful to destroy something people want. I want to get rid of it but dont know who to call. Suggestions?
