Getting a Jersey signed by Jeff Bagwell

Hello everyone!

I was a big fan of Jeff Bagwell and the Astros in the late nineties, while Jeff played (I live in New York). So much so that I got an authentic MLB replica jersey with his name and number on it (it was ordered off of the MLB website and customized). It also happens to be from the 1994 shortened season, the 125th anniversary season. So the Jersey is very special to me.

I've wanted to get it signed by Jeff but I'm not even sure where to start.

Should I contact the Astros organization? Has anyone ever done anything like this before and how did it work out?
