German Roaches in new Apt. Help!

Move in was yesterday and upon inspection of one cabinet next to the dishwasher – we found it with baby roaches. We then moved the fridge and dishwasher, also a whole bunch of baby roaches. We quickly let the leasing office know and they profusely apologized and said they would have someone come and clean the issues (also hair all over the place). They also didn’t charge us prorated rent for yesterday only.

Anyway I’m freaking out after reading and reading on German roaches and seeing other subs with this issue. It’s been one day of our lease – we haven’t even moved in. Can we ask them to peacefully end our lease? What other options do we have here? 🙁 please help! Im having crazy anxiety just thinking about moving in…
