Genuine question: Is food quality rapidly declining over the last few months, or am I just getting paranoid?
This is mostly about fruit practically rotting on the shelf. Additionally, meat and dairy prices outrageous. Even going out to eat is just… Crazy.
Do I just need to try a different grocery store? I don't love the ones in my area, but I'm beginning to go to an HEB a little further from me. The nearby Kroger has never impressed me.
I try to be very intentional about what my family eats. We cook at least a could days a week. We try to make sure our kids eat fresh berries and other fruits and vegetables. It seems more and more that processed, pre-packaged foods are being shoved into our carts just for lack of accessibility.
Maybe I'm just so upset about the prices, and the fruit going rotten so quickly just irks me all the more.
