General delivery to Houston?

Has anyone ever gotten general delivery to Houston? I don't live here but am going to be here for a while and need to have something mailed to me but the USPS customer service isn't being helpful at all so I can't figure out which zip code to use and which post office I would have to pick my letter up from.
