Gas light on

Is anyone else finding that their low gas indicator is coming on more frequently in their vehicle? Mine is bc I know I need gas (my light is currently on), I just don’t want to buy the gas at 4.00 a gallon. And, I don’t know the last time that I have filled up my vehicle (close to 19 gallon tank…do the math). It’s becoming almost impossible to afford it. 20.00 doesn’t do anything anymore. Spring Break is next week, and honestly, I don’t think we’re venturing to far from home.
