Rangers	Lyles has been on a roll lately, lowering his ERA from 7.39 at the beginning of May to 5.37 heading into the matchup with the Astros. In his only other start against the in-state rivals this season, Lyles surrendered four runs in six innings as he took a no-decision at home.
Astros	Greinke followed up a complete-game effort against the Blue Jays on June 4 — his first in four years — by allowing four runs on seven hits in three innings last Thursday in Boston. The Astros are 10-4 in games Greinke has started this year.
