Galveston area: kids shark experience?

In Galveston for a week this summer and have enjoyed it in the past. Looking for a shark experience to meet/pet etc for my 9 year old who is shark obsessed. Obviously not looking for a shark cage saltwater excursion. Going direct from Galveston to Panama City Beach, FL as well via car so along the route is also a great option. TYIA
