Future forecast for electricity rates?

Trying to do my research on where I can expect the rate for electricity to trend. Moving to a new home and current rates are meh with them avg 12 cent/kwh.

Outside of 3 month plans which would expire in the peak of Texas summer, my only option is a 36month plan or a 60 month plan… With the 36month plan being slightly cheaper. If the rates where to dramatically drop and I wanted to get out of my current contract; the 36 month plan has a $300 ETF but the 60month only has a $150 ETF.

And no I will not use energy ogre.
