Future ADN curious about the job market for new grads

My plan is to go for my ADN (because it is quicker and vastly less expensive) and get my BSN after graduating, however I keep hearing that it is nearly impossible to get a job here in a hospital setting as a recent graduate without a bachelor's degree. Is this true?
