Fun Maldy stat

There was a post in r/baseball about the all time leader in HR from the 9 spot for every team, and maldy was #1 in Astros history and had more than anyone on the list. So I did a little digging, and according to stat muse, maldy is #1 in MLB history in HR from the 9 spot, with 58, well ahead of Mike Bordick with 42. In fact the 16 HR separating him and maldy, is the same number of home runs separating #2 and #26. We had the most prolific power hitting #9 in history by a large margin and we didn’t appreciate him. I’m sorry for doubting you dusty, you were certainly on to something.
