Fulshear Traffic court

about a month ago i got pulled over for going 60 in a 45. im 18, i was driving the car i got for christmas, i was going home from work, driving on 1463 and when the cop flagged me down i had just stopped at a light.

i have court in three days and ive seen just about an equal split of people saying to hope the cop doesn't show up and my case gets dismissed, vs people saying to plead no contest, pay half the fine and do defensive driving vs people saying to hire a traffic lawyer so they can plead not guilty and it doesn't get on my record. i think it's too late to hire a lawyer now so im thinking of pleading no contest.

i tried to look up my citation to see how much i owe for the fine but it says "no unpaid violations are eligible for payments online" does that mean there is no charge being made or they just want me to pay in person?

am i making a huge mistake that i will regret later? my dad wont help because i should learn my lesson and how the law works and whatever sure i should, and my mom cant help because we are immigrants pretty unfamiliar with the legal system here. she has never gotten pulled over before. any advice?
