Fulshear clears the way for mixed-use development near city’s downtown

Fulshear officials have given the green light to an effort to create a new mixed-use development near the city’s downtown that aims to spur economic development in the area.

During a May 19 meeting, the Fulshear City Council unanimously approved the rezoning of 125 acres, converting the property from rural-residential to downtown-district zoning, according to a June 3 news release.
