F**k this heat

I know I know, “It’s Houston, it’s always hotter than the devil’s kitchen on thanksgiving day out here” but, and I do mean this somewhat respectfully, f**k all that man.

I’ve lived here for about 5 years. Seems like every summer is getting hotter. There is no “getting used to” this heat. There is only tolerance of which I have none. I don’t care what anyone says, unless you’re a mutant, hot is hot and cold is cold. You’re not “used to” this heat if you’re constantly trying to beat it.

I can’t stand sweating through my shirt when doing something as simple as walking to my car. Can’t stand what my electric bill looks like during this season. Can’t stand having to be strategic about when to walk my dog. Can’t stand my car being 115 degrees F by the time I get off work.

F**k this heat. F**k this concrete plain we live in.

Go Astros
