From an LA transplant back in town (Rant/vent)

Y’all drive like s**t and this is crazy. What the f**k???

I commuted 40mi each way from LA to OC for 3 months recently and really noticed how terrible everyone drives since the pandemic in SoCal, but Houston this is incredibly shameful. I would rather drive in Bangkok, Cairo or Barcelona. At least there you don’t have to pretend like you’re following road safety protocols.

Another driver’s blinkers are not a signal for you to suddenly drive the speed limit and not let them into your lane.

If you see someone struggling to make a turn or cross a busy intersection, SLOW THE F**K DOWN.

DRIVE THE SPEED LIMIT: it is not a suggestion. It is not a recommendation. It keeps people safe on the road and driving in the fast lane 10mph below the speed limit will kill you or someone else, or f**k up your car and day at least.

I also want whatever drugs the city planner was taking when designing these freeways, interstates and the changes between them because the nightmare reality had to have come from some brilliant fantasy.

While all in all I am very glad to be back in my hometown, I can’t wait to get back home next week, or at least until I switch to my downtown hotel.
