Friendswood ISD ‘ domestic situation’?

The district sent a letter to parents saying they were canceling all outdoor activities because of what they referred to as the 'domestic situation'. Does anyone have any fact based insight into what this means?

Not looking for rampant speculation, I can do that on my own.
