Friends in Houston

I’ve been in Houston for 4 years now and have found it really difficult to make friends. I’m a sociable person and have a lot of friends spread out all over the country but haven’t found a group here. I’m 29, live near downtown, love live music, working out, and trying new things. Any suggestions?
