Framber Valdez 2023 Cy Young Campaign
We all know Framber is pitching out of his mind this year and how important that has been for us with our starting rotation excelling in the injury department. He is our MVP for the first half of the season but not only that; Framber is currently the Vegas betting-odds favorite to win the AL Cy Young. So here are some of his numbers along with the rest of the top-5 Vegas favorites for the AL Cy Young:

Comparing the numbers, Framber is the most well-rounded pitcher in the AL Cy Young hunt; he doesn't have a glaring weakness in his stats ( I included wins but thankfully I think we're past the point of putting much stock into that).
Gausman IMO is Framber's biggest threat with his advanced stats BUT his actual ERA is half a run higher. Cole and Eovaldi are doing very well but neither really outshine Framber in any category. McClanahan on the surface seems to be nipping on Framber's heels but take into account his much lower IP along with his higher WHIP and FIP and you have someone who maybe is relying more on his defense. Not a bad thing but not as dominant.
TLDR; Framber is the AL Cy Young favorite for a reason. Keep it up Framber!
