Foundation repair
I’m a first time home owner and apparently my entire foundation needs to be repaired. I want to make sure I’m not getting ripped off and that I’m also getting it fixed appropriately. I know with this drought it’s caused a lot of problems, but my doors won’t close on one plane of the house, tile is cracked in a small section of my hallway, and and of course some cracks in the sheet rock. Also, the gap on one side of the house between the foundation and the ground. I am watering the ground against the house as much as I am allowed with the water restrictions. But this is a legit foundation issue. I got a quote from one company for $34k and am terrified. Any advice is appreciated!
