Found a piece of metal in my food

This was earlier in the day from Kolache Factory. I don’t necessarily wanna say which location because I don’t want to throw them completely under the bus, but I couldn’t help but to think that I could’ve casually lost a tooth or injured myself digesting my food. This definitely discourages me from the food industry and makes me consider eating home cooked meals only.

What do you think caused this? And what action would you take? I’m lost for words.
