Fort Bend ISD to begin 2020-21 school year online, phase in face-to-face learning

Superintendent Charles Dupre said the reasoning for this decision was twofold: first, to protect the health and safety of students and staff, and second, to get students and teachers acclimated to online learning in the event that schools close during the year because of the coronavirus.
