Fort Bend ISD reverses class rank policy

The vote will accelerate a policy revision to rank the GPAs of students’ attending academies, or any other program of choice, with the high school they attend rather than the campus their street address is zoned to. With the 5-2 vote, the policy will go into effect for the class of 2026 rather than the class of 2028.
