Fort Bend ISD, Lamar Consolidated ISD superintendents to leave

The superintendents of two Fort Bend-area school districts are leaving.

Charles Dupre, superintendent of schools for Fort Bend Independent School District, announced on Nov. 16 that he will resign by December 2021, the district said in a press release. 

Dupre became superintendent seven years ago. He started at Fort Bend ISD as an internal auditor in April 1995, worked in Pflugerville ISD for seven years, then returned to Fort Bend in 2013.
